Hi All,
I know this may be a little premature, but I was wondering if anyone who is currently a sophomore has heard anything from USNA regarding their STEM program. I know the paperwork says applicants will be notified by May 1st, but with all the NASS acceptances floating around, I was curious if anyone has heard about STEM.

Thanks

This is a pretty busy time in CGO/Admissions with selecting the 1200 members of USNA 2018 as well as the participants for NASS and STEM, so it may take a little while. Also, be aware that STEM is a very tight group, only a few hundred applicants will be selected.
As an alternative, you might consider looking into one of the sports camps that are available during the summer. Check it out at <www.navysports.com> under "Camps".

Have any rising 9th graders heard from STEM yet?

Rolling Admissions Summer STEM

Was wondering if anyone knows how the rolling admissions policy for USNA Summer STEM works. DD applied the middle of January but has not heard anything yet. Trying to figure out if she is likely out of the running, etc..

STEM

Do they let you know if you do not make it into STEM? Or is it just implied?

I believe they let you know by email either way but from earlier posts it seems that people have had acceptances up to one month ago, so I was figuring that the odds are not so good if it is true rolling admissions and my DD's application was completed in Jan.

STEM

Ya I submitted my application in January and I still haven't heard anything. Fingers crossed though!

In Time

My DD applied the day after the app opened. Need to give this more time, the 2018 Plebe Class is not complete and they need to work on NASS as well.

You can call the Office and they will tell you if you are in or not. Our email was on the fritz and that is how DS found out he was in.

Is this STEM admission based on the application date? Such as first come first serve?

I can't find the office phone # from NAVA's website. Do you mind to share the phone # here? Thanks.
