Not sure how often Objee is on here, but the answer to your questions is Yes. The Coast Guard Academy Scholars Program (CGAS) uses two junior military colleges to send their Prep School appointees. One is Marion Military Institute in Alabama, and the other is Georgia Military College in North Georgia. I think there are about 30 or so each year that are sent to those schools with the bulk going to MMI.
