My daughter is interested in applying for a nursing Army or Navy ROTC scholarship. She is a junior in high school. the websites give the dates when they first accept the applications, but it does not seem that you can even view the application or begin working on it ahead of time. Is this correct?

For AROTC you can do a Google search for AROTC Scholarship Application, you can find a copy of the application online and at least go through it and start to get your information organized ahead of time.

Not sure about NROTC.

^ Don't know about NROTC either. However, I'm confident the info you'll need to pull together is not all that different.

Just some advice, definatly apply for both arotc and nrotc but be aware that nrotc nursing scholarships are highly competitive (atleast this year) but who knows what next year will be like!

What is your hurry???
The window to begin the application for Army ROTC opens in June. The first board meets in October. Is that not enough time to complete an online application that may take 2 hours to fill in? You will then have to take a PFT, submit your SAT scores, and interview at an ROTC battalion. I think all of that can be done in a little over three months. There is no extra credit for being the first in this process. You actually have until 10 January to begin the application, but you want to shoot for that first board.
And on another note...AROTC nursing is highly competitive too.
