Right now I am filling out the scholarship application and it is ineligible because I did not enter my act score. I took the act a year ago and made a 22 my first time. I know that a 22 is not to great, but I took classes to get it higher and I think it worked. I took the act a couple days ago and I think I did a lot better. My question is should I put my 22 on the application now or wait untill the test results come back from the test I took a couple of days ago?

Wait -- your scores should be available in a few weeks. A 22 is not competitive (is it even the minimum?).

Thank you, I will wait! I am aware that a 22 is not competitive. However, the minimum is 19.

You could've just put 22, and they would've updated your application with your new score once it arrived. But it doesn't really matter.

Remember you can get your AC T scores online before you get the snail mail. That can quicken things up for you. But you have no need to hurry and finish the application right now. But I would definitely get it in before the first board's deadline.

I filled mine out today and didn't save as I went because I was going to save it all at the same time. Well the website logged out on me and now I have to restart! So just remember to save as you go!

Usually all your materials have to be in by mid-October to be considered for the November board. I don't know an exact date, but I'm sure someone like clarkson does.

I thought it was mid September for the October board?

Clarkson would definitely know.

I also though that the first AROTC board was Oct with results released near Nov.

If I also recall to be boarded you have to have your interview completed, thus the longer you wait to open your file the longer it will be until you do your interview.

Don't have the dates for this years boards yet, but I'm going to guess that October, early January, and March again this year. Stay tuned for my annual blog post, coming soon!

And you'll find Clarksonarmy's excellent blog here: http://goldenknightbattalion.wordpress.com/

One of the most excellent resources on the net when it comes to AROTC.

PS. When it comes to AROTC he's excellent. Marketing his blog? Needs a little more attention to detail!

I leave that up to my fans. Thanks for the plug.
