Does anyone know the time for the swearing in ceremony for the class of 2018 tomorrow?

A sign at the North Gate says 0530. It didn't say with or without military ID. I'm going and the worst thing that can happen is they turn me away.

Even for non-DoD card holders?

North Gate is the only one accepting visitors. South gate is DoD only (except on special occassions). You can exit either gate. Don't forget the bionoculars! All Basics look alike from a distance!

Actually, sometimes especially during the day you can't exit either gate because there is a checkpoint in between the cadet area and south gate that requires a DoD CAC card.

Does anyone know how long the swearing in ceremony takes?
I'm trying to plan departure flight from Denver and need to know what time I can leave the Academy.

Total time for the Ceremony is less than an hour once it starts. But leave yourself some time to get off base, to get to DEN, and then through TSA. I would do an early afternoon flight at earliest.

Don't schedule a flight before 2 pm especially if you need to turn in a rental car.
Swearing in - 9 am to 10 - 10:30 am
Walk to the car - 11 am
Drive to DIA - 1.5 hrs - 12:30 pm
Turn in Rental and security - 1 pm/1:30 pm

Thank you Blackbird and Allforone!
This is really detailed information.

We were told to get there very early, not really necessary to be there at 6am. We were there 7:30 and were fine. Quick word of advice you will figure out soon enough. Never stand right in front of the squadron you want to see. They line up in front of each other and you can't see except the front row. Stand in front of the group next to your basic's and you will be able to see the other rows from the side! Squadron 1 on far left as you are looking out (Basic cadet squadron A, Agressors). Squadron 40 on the far right.

While I agree with USAFAMom, I would clarify that on the far right (south) is Basic Cadet Squadron E, Executioners, which contains some Basics that will go into CS 40 during the academic year. But don't look for CS40 during the swearing in ceremony.
