I emailed my admissions counselor right after I spoke with him at summer seminar (June 13th) but he hasn't gotten back with me.

What is the best way to contact my admissions counselor? I have his business card and could call him, but would there be some reason that he hasn't gotten back to me yet? Is it too early in the admissions cycle to expect semi-regular communication with him?

I am trying to finish my app for early action so I would like to speak with him as quickly as it is convenient for him, but I don't want to pester him with a follow up email if he is occupied.

Is there a reason you need to talk to him, or is it you just want to talk?

Admissions is admissions. You have an ALO, and I would suggest talking with them before contacting admissions a this point. Do you have a nom. yet? Are you a candidate or an applicant?

I don't have a nomination, but I have Candidate status on my application portal. I wanted to talk to him about having my school put a tentative Spring Semester schedule on my application. I won't be scheduling for my last semester until November 3rd, after the EA deadline, and I was just going to have my guidance counselor put a tentative schedule (classes that I need to take to graduate) on my application.

Check your portal for your counselor's phone number and call. Sometimes e-mails get lost in the flood. The counselors are there to assist.

If you have something that needs to be asked or clarified, call them. They are very helpful.

Admissions questions

Admissions was not answering phones just prior to BCT - they were presumably preparing for the incoming. Try now.

Yeah definitely use your ALO for all you questions and check your portal so you can call him
