I agree with tug. There is no way this will stand, nor should it. I was a little miffed though on how they dragged in the pic of academy cadets and some brief paragraphs about the academy. I thought that was a bit of a stretch.
 
The man making the complaint is enlisted, correct? With no real or formal connection to USAFA (other than they are both "Air Force").

If I've heard correctly, the policy was changed to allow people to omit the "God" part, but then some legal eagle noted that the text including "God" came from US federal law, not DoD policy. Therefore, they apparently reasoned that the USAF did not have the authority to make "so help me God"

I guess I would be confused too if I wore Navy Blue & Gold colors at AFA.:shake:
