My suggestion would be to park at Hillman Garage across from Buddy's Crab and walk to Gate 1. Gate 1 is closed to any automobile traffic but open to pedestrians. Also I do not think you can drive your car on the yard and park unless you have a permit from USNA. At the Hillman Garage the price is reasonable at $20 a day. I would not park in the street by the Yard there is a specific time limit that is sometimes enforced. I would not want to see you get a parking ticket. Hope this helps. Daughter will also be attending and will park at the garage. A couple of good places to eat are the Boatyard, Chick and Ruth's, Davis' Pub, Sofi's Crepes.

Thanks. We will probably just drop him off Thursday night and then walk up for the Friday morning conference. Should be a nice trip, the weather looks like it is going to cooperate!
