Application Start

NO! However, most, if not all, nomination packages will be due at the start of October. If you are starting an application, find out what/when nomination packages are due for your MOC and 2 state Senators. You may also be eligible for other nomination categories based on your status. Check out USNA's admission page for more info.

No, it's not too late.

However, if you missed the MOC nomination application deadlines, most are mid-October, hope your MOC isn't ones that have early deadlines, you are pretty much toast. As no nomination, no appointment. There are exceptions, but the Naval Academy has to really want you.

The MOC deadline is critical. Our congressman uses an 11/1 deadline for applying for a nom, plus his interviews happen in November, so there are some MOCS that hold a later time window.

You will need to get a lot of things done FAST if you are going to make this happen. i.e LOR's, CFA, BNG interview, transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and essays.

SOME MOCs will relax their "deadlines," particularly those in less competitive states/districts where they may not have 10 applications by the deadline. It's worth asking the MOC's SA rep if you have missed the deadline.

Also, be sure to apply for the VP nom.
