I cannot adequately express the gratitude to you and others for sharing your insight, advice and wisdom on the forum. It was invaluable and reassuring to know I could always post on the forum if things started to feel unsteady. My mid graduated and has a good job. Thank you so very much.

I am honored and humbled by your post and your gratitude is appreciated but unnecessary. So glad to hear you are the proud parent of a recent graduate!

I share jaspers humility and honor and second his sentiment that gratitude is not needed.

To me, the passing on of insight and wisdom (such as it is) to the next generation is an expectation and a duty.

Aren't they the BEST!!! Jasperdog, KPEngineer and Tankerman~~They helped our son and us too. Don't be shy, keep coming back and pass on your wisdom! Best to your son. Congratulations. KP can be one of the best places to be FROM.

Appreciation

Our son is a 2014 systems engineer grad with cum laude honors. He is working a great job in the gulf. The road was an up and down journey. This forum was and is a wonderful support especially for me! Just like the mids need each other to make it through to that sunny graduation day this forum is blessing for parents and others. I notice that my parent and state groups on social media sites are informative. But there is lots information here when you need someone who has been there during "the dark night". Or just a simple question with info on bringing an RV to KP for graduation.
I always knew there was a place for straight guidance! Thank-you all.

you too luv2fly, beyond and cmakin!

Aww, thanks. I haven't been visiting here much lately. Especially since my kids have made other choices for their careers (and are doing very well at them). . . But I always feel that my voice is a bit from the dark side. . .
