Traveled out to Leesburg to see the movie, worth the trip and the price of admission. Not a perfect movie but a good one and one I'm glad to have seen. Great modern day VMI sequences as well. I'm also glad I went when I went, we got the first showing at 11:40am, all of 6 people in the theater, so I don't know how long it will stick around.

I wasn't aware this movie was out and just saw the trailer. I do not see it playing anywhere in Southern California. Any idea if it is playing beyond a few select cities?

Not playing in my area of North Carolina either. I was really looking forward to seeing this. May have to wait for the DVD. Trailer looked good. I'm very interested since I've been to the battlefield many years ago.

It is playing in a few areas in Virginia and this was the closet to the DC area. Haven't a clue where else it might be showing.

I'm hoping it will come out on Amazon video or Netflix because while I WOULD go see a movie in a theater, I probably wouldn't buy or rent a DVD anymore unless I was completely desperate. I want to see this movie, but I don't think "completely desperate" is where I'm at on this one.

If you search Field of Lost Shoes on Facebook, they give a listing of the theaters it's showing in across the US. Only opened in 30 cities though.

I'll probably get bounced 'again' for saying this … but if you look carefully on one of your wished for places you MAY find it is already available

Thanks for posting. Turns out it's playing in Columbia, SC where DS attends college. I may have to drive down to visit him sooner than I had planned.
