We're just about a week away from the festivities. Now, being a member of the Class of 2006, this isn't my class year, but I will be in town for SOME of the fun.
This is the 10-year reunion for my cadre, many of whom just made lieutenant commander, which makes me feel a little old.
Last year I attended homecoming with my best friend and classmate. We played in the golf tournament and watched the football game.
This year I'm bringing my girlfriend up from D.C. to eat lunch with the cadets Friday in the Cadet Wardroom. Thursday we'll be in Boston on the set of Disney's "The Finest Hours," a movie about a 1950s rescue of a ship that split in half in 50-70 ft. seas off of Cape Cod.
Should be a fun weekend! I love how CGA "opens up" to returning alumni.... its special when it's your class's year, but it's also fun to attend in an "off-year".
Go Bears!
