Hey there all, like the title says I have a question regarding the scholarship. Is it possible to transfer my 4 year Army ROTC scholarship halfway through my freshman year? Should I still contract at my school right now if I want it to transfer for the spring semester? I've asked my ROO and he said there's no way, but he's lied to me several times before.

What makes you think he has lied to you in the past.
Pretty sure he's not lying to you now.
You can transfer school anytime you want, you can most likely join the ROTC Battalion at your new school. Just don't expect to be taking the scholarship with you.

AROTC is not like AFROTC. They tie the scholarship to the unit. If they didn't fill all of their scholarships, then your chances may be higher, but if it is a school like PSU or TAMU, my bet is they will not be able to transfer your scholarship.
