The scholarship application deadline is this Saturday, January 10. For me to meet the deadline, does every tab in my application portal need to have a green check or can it still have the yellow exclamation mark (means pending approval)? If I somehow fail to meet the deadline, I will still participate in ROTC in college, but will re-applying for the scholarship be harder?

Also, I have heard of West Point applicants receiving ROTC scholarships even though they have not applied for one. How does that work? If I am a qualified candidate to West Point, does that mean that I, too, will receive a ROTC scholarship sometime in the future?

You just need to start your application by 10 Jan. At this point you have until 28 Feb to get all green. Why did you wait until the deadline???

If you come to campus without a scholarship it may be easier and it may be harder to get a campus based scholarship. There are a lot of variables and it will depend on the school, the program, what the competition is like at your school and your performance.

There may or may not be qualified-non select offers for USMA non selects. Some years there are lots of these and some years there aren't. It''s not automatic, so I wouldn't bank on it.

Thank you for answering! I did not mean to wait until the deadline, and I regret that I did. In the fall/winter, I was so focused on completing my academies and nominations apps. Recently, I've been very busy with my civilian college apps.
