Would like to see if anyone has received nominations for Alabama.

AL01 (Byrne) announced December 17
AL61 (cannot tell if it's Sessions or Shelby) announced January 27

Both Sessions and Shelby have submitted their slates.
The '6' in the nom code means that is is from one of the Senators.

Do you know if the senators nominations have all been posted to all of portals?
There's a possibility of still receiving a nomination, I believe the cutoff for that is the 31st of this month

They have been posted on the FFR site. I would assume they are on the candidate's portal too.

Doubtful. These Senators have turned their slate in to West Point.

What is Al61? Is that a senator? Did that post to portal?
61 is the senior senator (Shelby), 62 the junior senator

I believe it is the other way around. I think the senior senator is 62 and the junior senator is 61.

I based my response on my DD who has a nom to USNA from Senator Rubio who is the Junior Senator from FL. It's listed on her portal as "2".

I just received a phone call from Byrne's office notifying me that I will receive an appointment. Anyone else receive this call from their congressman or senator's office?

Seems there is no rhyme or reason as to which Senator is 61 or 62. I've heard it both ways, but most seem to be the Jr is 61 and the Sr is 62. It may be state by state.
In the end, it doesn't matter - 61 or 62. The good news is that you have a nom!

Well, think about it, Buff. Sooner or later, the senior senator retires or gets beaten in an election. The junior becomes the senior. I don't think they change the numbers because Ted Cruz is TX-61 and he's the junior senator. But he took over for Kay Bailey Hutchison, who was senior to Cornyn. The number stays with the slot.
