Ok so I'm a college reapplicant and about a month ago I sent my RD three updates about my activities, being 1) I've been on my school's varsity swim team (D3) for the duration of the season (Sept-Feb) 2)I've been on the Men's club water polo team and 3)I joined the American Society of Mechanical Engineers chapter at my school. I CC'd my BGO in the email so the RD could see that he could "verify" the updates but she said they needed to come from my counselor. Well, the only counselor I have/have had is from high school, and these are college updates...no great way to verify them other than a membership card and my name on the online roster. Anyway, I sent my GC these updates about a month ago - no response. Then I sent a follow-up email 2 weeks later. Nothing. Yesterday I called and left a voicemail. No reply. Tomorrow is the deadline and I'm worried that my super-important updates will not get in to my RD. I don't have a guidance counselor here, at least not that I know of. I simply cannot get through to my HS counselor.......any ideas??

It might be useful to get your coaches to send an email to confirm it

^ What kent said. Make sure you get it in by tomorrow. Call USNA admissions and ask through phone as they don't close today until 4:00. I have heard stories of people's additional updates not getting counted towards their profile because it was past the deadline, not sure if this is case by case though

As well as the person running the chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers you're involved with.

Ok whew. Got it resolved. Apparently my guidance counselor sent in the updates when I asked her to but she never told me that she did, so I had know way of knowing. Might delete this thread now if I can.

No worries! You were right to care so much about how to do this. Leaving NOTHING on the table...good job and good luck!!:D
