Salutes !

I am an international student aspiring to be a mid.

I tried to contact the US attache, the attache of my country in the US and the embassy. I didn't receive answers.

You are my last hope, guys...

Is the dream dead ?

Sorry to bother... Right now is very late here. I am going to bed putting my faith on you and God.

Thanks ! Joy be with you all !

Are you an American Citizen trying to gain admission or an International student trying to gain admission? Big difference. If you are an American Citizen, go to the USNA Admissions Office website and follow the advice given on the link for International Students. This provides guidance on how and who to apply for nominations.

From what you have posted it appears you are an International student who wants to attend USNA. The USNA Admission website states to contact the Naval Attache at the Embassy... have you contacted that person or their secretary specifically? Recommend you contact them and request an appointment to discuss your desire and see what guidance they provide. If you are not having any luck contacting them, then recommend you email admissions for assistance as they might be able to contact the Naval Attache for you.

Most international students (meaning foreign citizen) come to the Academy under the auspices of their home country's military and there maybe a board/tuition payment from that country to the US. Every international student my class had was commissioned into their country's Navy upon graduation and had a commitment to that country's service for many years. The attendance of the international Mid was very well planned out from before he even left home by his home country. There is no such thing as an international "walk on" Mid.

The embassy doesn't provide the information about Col Tony Espinosa, the defense attache listed on their site.

I sent two questions about it to USNA almost two months ago and still waiting an email.

I am aware of that.

Have you called the Embassy? Surely there is a number of some sort for the embassy. Ask if there is a Naval Attache and if not, who would be the best person to speak to. Have you called USNA? You are in a unique situation and you are going to have to do a lot of leg work to any traction on this, but it is possible. All of us who have attended USNA remember our international students very well and consider them great peers and classmates. Many of them have gone on to great and amazing things in their home countries.

I called the embassy but the consular office doesn't treat this issues.

Through the most forbidden archives, I found contact information from the naval comission in Washington. I will be waiting an answer from them.

Thanks for the zeal, my comrade.
