Hi Guys,
So I've managed to get into ROTC MS classes and doing PT for free without a contract.
Cadre has me as an MS4 from the start, what they call a hybrid some cadets confirm, as I'll have to do MS3 in my second year.
I am doing my masters degree and finish within 2 years, however, cadre ask me if I could graduate in December 2017 so I can contract LIKELY this December 2015 instead of May/2015 as it's almost impossible do to slots availability even with my A+ gpa and A+ apft scores in AIT.
So, he told me I should start soon with MS2 so that I can pick up as MS3 when/if I contract this next December/2015, so what would you do if you had the 2 options of starting as an MS2 or MS4?
Would you push for keeping yourself as an MS4, MS3 and finally an MS5 in your 3rd year in college(finishing your dual masters degree) or would it better starting as an MS2, MS3 and then MS4 both academically and financially? (Heard MS5 only need to report for PT tests, but get and don't get paid a stipend or GRFD, mix answers here..)
"Reasons why" academically and financially would be great .. thx
