I saw today was a "snow day" at USNA. So what exactly do the mids do on a day off from classes?

I just talked to my Plebe DS. He's getting ahead on a few big papers due next week, hanging with friends and generally having a relaxed day. He's also recovering from one of the various bugs floating around Mother B so he's glad for the snow day. Understand some Mids also went into Annapolis to help shovel snow for local residents.

As a plebe- we were allowed to sleep in a little. I got some essays and miscellaneous homework (and professional knowledge) done, and like a lot of people, I am taking advantage of this to recover from whatever plague is going around. Other than that, it is a nice day to relax!

As I recall, at least a couple of times recently they had large regimental snowball fights in T-Court. Otherwise they caught up on homework and projects... tempus fugits regardless of weather.

I see by the USNA site that at least some of the mids were shoveling snow out in town, part of the MAG program I suspect. Hope they got some of the senior walkways in the mix.
