Hi all, I received the principal nom in my district but haven't heard anything yet. MOC has yet to hear anything either. I know at least one person in the district has received a TWE and I also know a recruited swimmer in district has an LOA but has yet to complete medical. Is it possible USNA will charge MOC with swimmer if candidate follows through? Am I on NWL?

Probably not-your file may not have been qualified yet or your principal Nom may fall into the same hole some did last year. Good news can still come so just be patient-and yes I know that's hard.

I also know the mid in district who got accepted last year didn't hear until April 01. Could it be that USNA takes a long time to get around to my district?

Probably coincidence but remember they have had snow days during prime appointment time. Think of a puzzle with 1M pieces and only 998.2 fit...and some of those only fit after turning them around 85 times.

Also remember there can be multiple Mids in a district due to a variety of factors. Focus on one thing-you haven't gotten the TWE. That can be enough for awhile. I knew of a kid last year who didn't hear anything until June. Just keep on keepin on as they say.

It is still early dude, trust me. Ask your BGO if you have been evaluated yet, he might tell.

reh16, I am not sure if you saw my post on another thread. BGOs cannot give out this information and this has been re-iterated to all BGOs. Since some BGOs decide not to follow policy, doesn't make it right for others to. Please do not post to or suggest to the contrary. Thank you.
