Hey guys, I'm getting pretty stressed out about AP testing and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I have my AP Macroeconomics and microeconomics test tomorrow and Friday and I don't think I'm gonna do so hot. Worst case scenario I get a 1 on both those tests, his will this affect my chances of admission?

It won't hurt your chances even if you get a 1 on both. They don't ask you for your scores so you can choose not to report them. That being said, on most AP exams it's pretty hard to not get at least a 2, and on a lot of them you only need to get about half the questions right to get a 3. Try your best and you will probably surprise yourself.

Okay thank you very much for the reply and the information!

AP scores are not required to put on transcript, if you do great, show it, if not, then don't! I took AP Euro this year and I know I choked the test, because I didn't make academics a true priority until a couple weeks ago (don't do what I did)
But I learned so much and I'm excited to do better in AP US next year and all my other classes :)

You will need a backup plan for college in case you do not get into West Point. Many colleges allow you to place out of freshman classes with excellent scores on AP exams. This is a huge moneysaver so it behooves you to do the very best you can in case you end up doing a year at a civilian school while waiting to reapply to West Point.
