I know that USNA does rolling and therefore the quicker you apply the better, does this apply to coast guard or are my chances of getting in the same as if I apply in august as they would be if I did so at the last minute?

In a previous thread you indicated you just finished your freshman year of college. Early action applications are only available to high school seniors or active duty military. It looks like you'll have to apply for regular action regardless.

Yes but I believe the application is open from August to January unless I am mistaken. I know there is no early app for transfer students but I just wanted to find out that this means it literally does not matter when I apply as long as it is within those dates

It may be important to note that uscga does things a lil differently with early action. Normally when you apply early action to a school, they will either accept you or differ you to regular decision. However, at Uscga if you apply early action and do not get in, then that's it.... You don't get put in the regular decision pool.

You have to submit your transcript from the fall semester, so that applying before that doesn't make a difference. They need a complete application package to consider you.
