I am aware that low AP Scores do not necessarily hurt one's chance at admission; however, do exceptionally High scores benefit ones application at all?
I received a 5 on the AP World Exam Freshman year and a 5 on AP Euro Sophomore year. Does anyone have any inside information that cannot be found elsewhere?
Thank you

As far as I'm aware of, the admissions do not look at the AP scores and that is why low scores don't hurt your chances
This is true for any school because AP scores are only for course credits. However, they do look at what courses you take and your grade, so if you got a 5, I'm assuming you had a fairly good grade in that class, which will help you especially because AP's are harder than normal classes

I don't think you get extra points on your application for high AP scores, but it does show that you've taken hard/advanced classes. If you receive an appointment, your AP scores will be taken into consideration along with any validation tests you take during Beast to see if you can validate (be excused from) certain classes. It is still up to the discretion of USMA whether you validate. For History, you need 5s; for the other subjects, you need 4-5s. http://www.usma.edu/academics/sitepages/advanced placement.aspx

Not always the case. I have talked with kids that ave gotten A's in the class and 3 or less on the test. I have talked to kids with B's and C's that have made 5's. Which is why Class Rank is more important GPA. Also, why ACT/SAT scores are important as they are only common ground. Grades vary greatly from school to school.

I would advise you to continue with getting the highest scores on you AP classes, this will help you greatly on your Plan B. Across the country many schools don't offer AP classes and as stated class rank is viewed as better gauge on how competitive you are. High schools across the country are ranked. As stated before ACT/SAT scores are extremely important to gauge how effective you maybe at WP and more importantly how competitive you are with others in your area.

Remember to have a Plan B and C.
