Rollercoaster Round 2

I will have accomplished some more things; for example I finally made my Eagle Scout.
I plan on doing better on my CFA; I am already in the process of working out.
I plan on improving academically; I am retaking the SATs next month and will focus very much on my summer courses.

Did the email have any information about how many of the 1300 offers were accepted and if anyone from waitlist was chosen?

It didn't have any of that info on it. It was asking if he's interested in reapplying for the class of 2020, and the generic - strong application, smaller class size, competitive applicants info. It was the first and only indication of him not being taken off the wait list.

I'll be playing soccer, working, and finally heading off to NROTC Orientation this summer. I'm hoping to get really involved in my NROTC Unit next year and then revisiting USNA about halfway through the semester.
This time around I'll work on maxing the CFA and definitely making sure my school sends information out in a timely manner - my main downfall this year

So glad to have all of you along for the ride! What are all your plan B's?

So, have you guys noticed a difference in the documents required on the portal or no? I'm not really sure what to do about some of the requirements (for example: put new college counselor email - unknown at the moment - or high school counselor for Candidate Activities Record and Academic Information. It asks for high school people for all the required documents?)

Unless you are in college taking college courses, they want your HS CAR and AI as that is the last relevant information.

DS hasn't started yet. Will they still want all his high school info like on the last application, in addition to all his first semester college info, or will it be only college info from this fall.

I'd have DS call admissions or email his RD to ask.

Thanks. Just curious. DS is not a forum type guy, and says they actually told him while he was at USNA not to look at the forums. It is me who was curious about the high school record since that's where most of these second timers would have their accomplishments.

Wonder why they would say that...there is a lot of useful information on these forums...of course admissions and the CGO should always be the main sources of information and answers to all questions admissions/application

I totally agree about useful info. I think it was at a meeting he attended there and probably like you said, so they would get the most accurate info from the correct source. I surely do love this forum though, even though DS has never participated. You all are my sanity :)
