Meals at SLE

Hi, I am leaving for session 2 of SLE this Friday and have a question regarding the meals.

I am allergic to gluten and eggs and noticed from pictures on the SLE Facebook page that a lot of the food that the candidates eat are made of gluten. Could somebody tell me if I will be able to eat something at every meal or whether I will have to rely mostly on snacks I bring? For example, when pancakes are served at breakfast, is cereal also available? Or, if lunch is pasta, will there also be lunch meat on the table? I am not severely allergic to these foods and would be fine eating something that was in contact with bread.

I understand that if I were to attend USMA (with medical waiver), my food allergies would pose a larger issue as a cadet at West Point, but I am taking this one step at a time.

Thank you!

I'm at SLE now and yeah most breakfasts have cereal but how the meals work it's going to be kinda complicated. You may have to sit in a separate area of something.

I am not a doctor and I don't work for DODMERB. I am reasonably sure that food allergy usually requires a medical wavier. Typically, if you are competitive and finish your application early, the admissions office will reqeust a medical wavier.
