My son received an email from the USCGA Admissions Office letting us know that this is a tough time waiting for letters and that everyone should know by the 15th of April. Has anyone else received this?

nope, not us. When did your son receive this? And...was your son an Early Action Deferral or a Regular Decision applicant? Thanks for the info.!

My son got that email. I don't think it means anything.
He is an Early Action Deferral.

I don't get it....

some get emails, some dont ....

no consistency ?? maybe because of a different admissions officer?

hmmmm April 15th is a long time away.... ughhhhh...

I do not think it means anything either, just a courtesy email, my son was an early action deferral as well.

Interesting, so is mine (a deferral from EA) and no email in his in-box...maybe it is different admissions officers?

My son received same email today as well. He was an early admission deferral....Onward thru the fog!!!

We got that email today too.. I posted it on another thread before I read this one, oops.

Well, there was a change of Admissions Officers (for some states) recently.

LTJG Meghan Hague is now responsible for the prospects and applicants in the regions that were previously under LTJG Bladen's care.
Oh,hmm. My son was in Ltjg Bladen's caseload...should he contact the new admissions officer??? Just checking...

I'm in the same boat. I'm going to contact LTJG Hague just to establish a line of communication. Couldn't hurt!

LTJG Hague is a good person too.
LITS, thanks for that. However, should he establish communication or would that really bug her while she is trying to get into her job--lots of files to review...

Hah, they are there for you. If you have questions, I don't think anyone can answer them better than your admissions officer. I'm sure Meghan and Caroline had/will have a good relief, so I don't think you really need to "touch base".

LITS! Thank you! I think he will just hang in there and wait with the rest. Thank you for reassuring me. He does not have any questions at this point.
