Overnight visit

Are you asking overnight visits for a prospective applicant or do you mean if a cadet can stay overnight for a visit off base during the academic year?

They do not do overnight visits from applicants, they have a full day visitation where the candidate can spend the day with a cadet. My son did this and really enjoyed it.

Wondering about an applicant overnight. DS has been invited for a CVW for Navy and an overnight for West Point but he is very interested in AF. He did attend the summer session so he got a "look" but going to classes and following a cadet throughout the day would give him a better idea of the day to day.

Usafamom2016 is right that full day visits are permitted. You can always contact the academy, ask about their prospective student shadowing opportunities and see if they are expanding the opportunities. I don't know much about such things. Sorry. Good luck to your son wherever he chooses to go!

I know they offer diversity candidate visits (or have done so).

Remember: diversity doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as it does at State U, or Small College.
