I have questions regarding admission in Usafa

1.In case a person was convicted and then pardoned will it affect chances of getting admitted or even disqualify. What options do the person have and what should he do in that case. I am talking about international candidate.

2.Can anyone tell me key factors considered in admission process.

3.what should international applicant know about admissions.

Franco, in prior postings you indicated that had previously applied to USCGA and USAFA three times, and turned down. You also said that this year you were applying to USMA and USNA.

Now you are inquiring about USAFA again. You have already been given excellent advice. Why are you repeating the question?

Have you obtained letters of recommendation from your own government? What have you done academically to improve your SAT?

Are you a troll?

I want to ask you a question. Why are you so negatively to me. You dont know me and you dont know what kind of man i am. I can say that in my age i have done more than anyone for my country. Everyday i live and i will die for my homeland. I think that this service academys are the only place where i can obtain skills and learn. I am applying for Usafa because whe dont have slots for any other institute this year. I ask questions in this forum because i am desperate to get admission. Please if any of you know answers on my question help me

Okay, I am going to assume you are sincere:

1.In case a person was convicted and then pardoned will it affect chances of getting admitted or even disqualify. What options do the person have and what should he do in that case. I am talking about international candidate.

Answer the questions truthfully. Any recommendation from your government needs to explain the pardon and any extenuating circumstances. But don't hide the truth of your conviction and pardon. I would recommend contacting USAFA admissions and address this question straight up. Hopefully an ALO will be able to add to this.

2.Can anyone tell me key factors considered in admission process.
This link gives you the steps. You MUST be nominated by your home country. Your character, academics and contributions to your community are all factors.
