How to set up CFA through PE Teacher?

Just making sure we are doing this right. My son has set up the CFA with his PE teacher next week. I asked him how will the info go to USNA?
He says he emailed? USNA and told them that this teacher was going to do the CFA and gave the teacher's email. Is this the correct process to set up the CFA through PE teacher for USNA?

USNA web site does not clearly say how to set this up. Any suggestion?

PE Teacher who gives Son the test will transmit the test results by email to USNA.
Son will be notified by email within 30 minutes of receipt by USNA admissions.
When Son gets the email he can log on his portal as see that it has been updated to recognize he has completed his CFA.
