Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any statistics or insight regarding the disabled/KIA presidential nomination. I know that very few per class get in with the nomination, and I was curious about it. My Dad was in the Army for 20 years as an officer and retired with a 100% service-connected disability. In the application process, is the pool of candidates with this particular nomination separate from the rest of the presidential nom candidates? Or is this essentially just another criteria to compete with the presidential nomination pool at large? Also, if anyone knows how many people apply with this nomination source each year, that'd be very helpful information.
Thanks!
