I have a few questions: If my CFA is not passing, can I retake it? And, can someone give me feedback on my scores? Should I work harder and retake? This is the last thing on my file. (I am female)
Basketball Throw- 45 ft.
Pull ups: 1
Shuttle run: 10.88
Sit ups: 82
Push ups: 36
Mile run: 7:23

Thank you in advance!

Do you know for sure if your CFA scores are "failing?" I think its always important to improve your scores, however it is only a small part in your application (still important, but academics and leadership are more.) For that reason, you should shoot for the averages! "Maxing" events look great, but your main goal is to pass it. Once you pass the CFA- work on improving it if you have more time.

Your scores look like they are passing. As cali said you are probably better off investing your time trying to get an extra point or 2 on the ACT rather than investing your time trying to get an extra push-up or 2 on the CFA.

All of my SAT scores are above average, and this is really the weakest link of my application (in my opinion), because I've never done a sport that really builds upper body strength (I'm a runner/swimmer/soccer player).

Just to be clear, you think I should go ahead and submit these?

Based on your CFA, your PRT score, with a converted 1.5 mile, would be 77%. The pushups is really your weakest link...you should aim for at least 50 (80% score for pushup portion on PRT)...your situps could be improved slightly and your run is "good."

If you retake the CFA, you have to take the new scores correct? If you do worse, they use those scores?
I guess I'm asking do they superscore?

No, they take your newest scores and delete the old ones from your file. It does not matter if you older ones were better.

usnabgo08, thank you for the advice! I will definitely work harder and retake in a couple of weeks.
