Hi all,
I'm currently applying for the ARMY ROTC scholarship (boarded status). I know the basics about DODMERB, in the way that it is similar to MEPS for officers (to my knowledge). However, I'm unsure of where to begin in the DODMERB process. I have received no emails or letters about what to do.. and my research has been less than beneficial.
I've heard that due to dq's and waivers, this is a process that is not wise to procrastinate on. Any help on what I need to do, and where to begin would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!

You won't get paperwork for DODMERB until you receive a scholarship for ROTC. SA candidates start the process when they have completed a certain percentage of their application. The best thing you can do now is review your medical history with your parents. If you have had any diagnosis or injuries that required surgery, continuous medication or something along those lines then start to gather paperwork, dates, doctors on those events.

So, if my son received DODMEDB paperwork it is related to his West Point application, not ROTC?
If he completes it for WP will it carry over to his ROTC if he is awarded a scholarship?

Thank you very much navy hoops. That was the information i have been searching for.
God blessed me with a life of no medications, glasses, or broken bones (other than some fingers in boxing but there's no proof of that haha) so my hopes are high.
Thank you very much
