Look up this video. It is one of the best ever done.

I thought it was good but Daughter hated it. Then again she was Jenny in Kadet Gump shown on the big screen at Army/Navy. I am sure this will be at the game. Only thing is it is too long.

What minute is USCGA? Not familiar with that uniform as they pass by so fast. Glad they made it though.

A female cadet (uniform looks like Navy, but dark blue.... Looks like AF but dark and brass buttons)

Wondering where all those Dress Blues and Light Blues got in with Dress Whites. Still think the video is great.

I forget what date we were to change from Summer to Winter uniforms? Therefore I can't figure out the mix? I do remember how long it took for them to turn the heat on in the Quonset huts in Oregon because we had not reached the "winter" date.

The uniform the Coastie is wearing can be worn in the winter or summer (though Trops are often worn in the summer).

As said above, I think it was artistic design -- the choker whites. The midshipmen were in SDBs for the home game that weekend, which means the uniform shift already occurred.

Annapolis can be a bit of a twilight zone for uniforms. In December, you can see service or full dress whites (chokers) at weddings at the USNA Chapel, or dinner dress white (mess dress). It's accepted as a local thing. I suspect local permission for a uniform variation was given for the video shoot.

Thanks MJ. That explains why all were in Choker Whites at the wedding. Sword in the a$$ was a wonderful shot even though she outranked her husband and best man who delivered it. She was frocked. He had a smile on his face as they left the Chapel and I knew something was up. He did hit her pretty hard. The picture is one in a million.
