2020 Appointments

There are very few at this point, but if you look through previous posts on this forum, there are some.

Congrats, but watch the "guaranteed" train of thought. You can still blow it if you get hurt or do something stupid. It isn't guaranteed until I day.

Not trying to rain on your parade here, just don't get cocky.

Stay away from parties, stay off of facebook,et. Al.

Best of wishes. You will likely be meeting my son in the near future as long as everything plays out well. Hopefully you'll be good friends.

Will do!! Thanks.

Congratulations to those who have already received appointments. When receiving an LOA, do you get a call first? If so, who calls? Or do you just get a letter in the mail with no call?

If you receive a LOA, you get an email regarding your status change. Your portal will also change.

My DS has a Presidential NOM and received an appointment in October. He has not accepted yet as he wants to be 110% sure before making the commitment. He's nervous that the offer could be rescinded since he has not accepted yet. Is that a possibility? The offer states he has to accept by May 1, 2016.

No, it won't be rescinded unless he did something horribly wrong. As long as he submits his paperwork by the deadline, he is fine.
