GA Nomination Interviews

DS received an interview invitation in yesterday's mail from Senator Perdue's office.

A friend of my DS heard from both senators and Woodall. Good luck to all...and prepare!!

I only applied for Perdue, but got the nomination recently. They called, and sent a letter.

Has anyone heard from Isakson's board (a nomination, not an interview)? In particular, the USNA board?

A Representative (Scott) nomination and a senator nomination appeared in my portal today. Kinda confused because Isakson said that his board does not double nominate, and that notifications of noms go out in the new year. However, I did not get Perdue's nomination so it has to be Isakson's. Either that or it is a mistake.

Thanks, lingering. That is an odd, but happy circumstance. From this forum, I think I've learned however that "no double nominations" is more of a guideline than a rule.

By double nominate it means you won't receive a nomination from both Senators. Their nomination boards communicate with each other ensuring two of the states 20 total slots are not used for the same candidate. Your congressman is a completely different nomination process from the senators.

My DS received email then official letter showing nomination to USNA from Isakson on Dec.1( it showed on portal Nov. 30) He received nomination from congressman Loudermilk Nov.23 and it showed on portal Nov. 17. Both offices emailed first then snail mail came later. He attended NASS last June and completed CFA, DODMERB Approved Sept. 9th and BGO posted on portal Sept. 27. Showing complete pending review. Now just the agonizing wait like everyone else! Also, office did say it's unusually slow moving this year and that Sen2 did not mean junior Sen as Isakson is our senior senator. Not sure what sen2 or sen1 mean but Sen2 was correct in portal for Isakson.
