Any enlisted applicants?

Yes.
I just received my LOA for NAPS today and I received my SECNAV nomination on September 15th.
Little background- I am a Corporal/E4in the USMC. Marine of The Quarter for last quarter, and was meritoriously promoted on September 2nd. 300/300 PFT and CFT.
I have been in Japan for a year this coming November and plan to stay until I report to NAPS in July.

Me too man! Congrats!

Yeah man , we will be taking on the adventure together . Craziest feeling .

That's great, man! I hope to see many other prior service there as well. It's gonna be a pretty drastic change, so it'll be nice to have a backing of other guys who understand.

I couldn't agree more! From what I understand the Priors that meet at NAPS grow and remain pretty close throughout the journey. July cant come any sooner!

Enlisted Navy here. A tad late to the party, but I have been working with my CoC and fleet coordinator to get my package done -- I got out of A-School a week ago, hoping for at least a shot at NAPS this time around with my old test scores, and next year I'm really confident with my chances to get accepted.

Marine. Also a Corporal. Going through all the fun stuff with my application right now. Just knocked out the CFA. Hopefully my package will look competitive and I'll end up seeing you guys there. Can't go to NAPS because of my age though.

I feel like im gonna be turned down now because I'm too junior of a sailor, next year I'm feeling really positive.

CTN, you have to stay positive my friend. Just do the best you possibly can at every section of your application and leave it up to the board. Demonstrate why exactly you want to be an officer and how your fleet experience will help you succeed at the Academy. I respect your perseverance as a third time applicant. Best of luck my friend!

I'm trying. I actually have a small dilemma going on, whether to submit my app here or at my next command that I go to in a month.
Also I'm kinda confused with the SECNAV nom and how to go about getting the CO's endorsement.
I'm busy querying the Web and I'm gonna ask my CCC and LCPO tomorrow.

DM me. I'd love to help you out and see you at NAPS with me and Ellerman.

Will do. I'm about to go on watch and I don't think CT1 would like me on my phone, so expect a PM later tonight or tomorrow morning.
Thanks!

CTNope, sailors get plucked right out of the schools pipeline (mostly nuke), with zero Fleet experience and just months out of high school. Applying shows desire and commitment. Forget "too junior." Go for it.
