Me too man! Congrats!Yes.
I just received my LOA for NAPS today and I received my SECNAV nomination on September 15th.
Little background- I am a Corporal/E4in the USMC. Marine of The Quarter for last quarter, and was meritoriously promoted on September 2nd. 300/300 PFT and CFT.
I have been in Japan for a year this coming November and plan to stay until I report to NAPS in July.
Yeah man , we will be taking on the adventure together . Craziest feeling .Congrats, man. You'll be at NAPS too then I suppose?

I couldn't agree more! From what I understand the Priors that meet at NAPS grow and remain pretty close throughout the journey. July cant come any sooner!Yeah man , we will be taking on the adventure together . Craziest feeling .
That's great, man! I hope to see many other prior there as well. It's gonna be a pretty drastic change, so it'll be nice to have a backing of other guys who understand.
I feel like im gonna be turned down now because I'm too junior of a sailor, next year I'm feeling really positive.
DM me. I'd love to help you out and see you at NAPS with me and Ellerman.I'm trying. I actually have a small dilemma going on, whether to submit my app here or at my next command that I go to in a month.
Also I'm kinda confused with the SECNAV nom and how to go about getting the CO's endorsement.
I'm busy querying the Web and I'm gonna ask my CCC and LCPO tomorrow.
CTNope, sailors get plucked right out of the schools pipeline (mostly nuke), with zero Fleet experience and just months out of high school. Applying shows desire and commitment. Forget "too junior." Go for it.I feel like im gonna be turned down now because I'm too junior of a sailor, next year I'm feeling really positive.
