Hey all! Just wanted to make a thread for those who received a scholarship to celebrate and post their qualifications (if you are comfortable doing that) I am curious as to how selective this year will be.

I'll start off

4 year type 7 winner

GPA: 3.71 unweighted
ACT: 27
PFA: 10:45 1.5 mile, 47 push ups, 49 sit ups
Interview: I don't know what it's out of, but I was told it was a 100%

Extra Curricular
Volunteer work - Angels for Animals (11th), Rescue mission (10th, 11th), Tutoring (10th, 11th)

Interact Club (10th, 11th) - Vice President
Key Club (10th. 11th)
National Honors Society (11th)
Robotics Team (10th, 11th)
Student Body (9th) - Council Member
Latin Club (9th, 10th, 11th)

Work
Job during school year (11th)

For most years, my gpa and ACT are below the average, but I think my extra curriculars and interview is what made the difference.

To all winners, congratulations! This is the start of a long and hard journey. There is no guarantee we'll make all the way through so keep working as hard as we can to earn a commission.

Thank you to everyone on this forum! You have been an invaluable resource to me.

Congratulations. Way to go. What is your major?

Thank you. I'm majoring in computer science and engineering or possibly computer science if I choose to go to another school. My first choice doesn't offer computer science, they instead offer computer science and engineering which is essentially the same thing as computer science but just a few more engineering geared classes.
