Is the max number of schools 5? That may be why.Can you not go back into your application and follow the directions to add or remove schools? I can currently go into my application and adjust my schools, but I haven't been boarded. If you can no longer adjust your schools then you will have to contact Cadet Command and ask them to do it for you.
He can't make changes, or he can't figure out how to make changes? Are there no longer little red Xs next to the schools on his list?My son is in the same boat. His list of schools is changing in his mind since we have visited the campuses now of all his choices. Schools at the top of his list are falling and schools at the bottom are rising. Since he is "boarded", he cannot make changes. How does he handle this?
He cant make changes. He gets a message on the screen that says that because of his status, he cannot make changes at this time.He can't make changes, or he can't figure out how to make changes? I apologize for using the reply incorrectly. I answered you below. Yes, Army. Yes, he can't update. Been boarded. Sent a message through the application website. I will update when they reply. When you read the instructions on the website on the page where you enter your schools, how many schools does it tell you that you can list? The instructions are pretty self explanatory. When I was on my application today I think I was reading 7 schools.
We are talking Army ROTC, right?
I guess the reason I am unable to change school of intent is because I was offered the ECP scholarship. Do you know if I will be able to change school of intent after I declined the ECP scholarship? When you read the instructions on the website on the page where you enter your schools, how many schools does it tell you that you can list? Update- to change schools of intent after being boarded, send a message via the application to cadet command. They re ordered my son's schools.
I sent a message to cadet command and they said that it was not possible to change at this time. Any idea on what to do?When you read the instructions on the website on the page where you enter your schools, how many schools does it tell you that you can list? Frankly no! Sorry. If you have a top choice school, maybe email them and tell them you cant re arrange the choices and ask them what to do?I sent a message to cadet command and they said that it was not possible to change at this time. Any idea on what to do?
I was in the exact same situation as you a couple months ago. Basically after boarding, those schools are set and can't be moved. Depending on what you get awarded you will be offered a scholarship to one of those schools on top of your priority list. Now from there pretty much your only option is to go through the process of transferring your scholarship to a school you actually want to go to. So in short its not really the schools of intent but the actual scholarship that is most important. Is there any way I can update my schools of intent after being boarded?
Thanks.
