Greetings Y'all!

I am excited to say I have received a 4 year ARTOC scholarship to Auburn, the school of my dreams. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without reading other winners' resumes over the past couple years for guidance, so now I would like to help others out who are looking to begin the process. This is my resume in its entirety...if there is any questions at all regarding anything just message me or reply to this thread. I'd love to help out and give back.

In summary, you DON'T have to have a perfect GPA in all AP classes, score a 36 on the ACT, or be valedictorian to earn a 4 Year scholarship.

Being able to communicate well in an interview is very important as well, and I feel as if my interview was one of my strongest points during the application process.

ACADEMICS:
GPA: 3.97/4.0 -took about half AP classes/half regular
ACT: 26 (I studied a lot and never got a great score...if you're in the same boat don't worry!)
Class Rank: Top 10%
All-State Academic Team
All-District Academic Team

EXTRA CURRICULAR:
-USNA Summer Leadership Course in Annapolis
-Boys State Selectee
-Elected Class Officer
-Young Republican Club Founder/President
-Military Order of World Wars summer leadership camp
-Multicultural Club Vice President
-Football Team Captain
-Key Club member
-National Honor Society Member

ATHLETICS:
-3 Year Varsity Football Starter
-2 Year Track Letter

SERVICE:
-Upward Referee
-Elementary Student Mentor program

Employment:
-Grocery store for 1.5 years

Like I said, just contact me if you have any questions. About 2 years ago I had almost nothing to put on a resume until I started focusing towards the end of my sophomore year. Best of luck to everyone in their future endeavors.

Congratulations! Excellent job.
I do recommend that you change your handle as it contains your full name in conjunction with nearly your full resume on your post. Not a good thing.

You don't have enough posts to PM the site administrator, Tactical Nuke. If you want to do this. Post the request and someone here will notify TN.

Congratulations Hayden. You have a very well rounded and outstanding resume. Now the hard part begins. Keep the grades up, get in great shape, and keep your nose clean. Remember the scholarship doesn't kick in until you pass the PFT when you get to college.

Yeah, I already found Hayden's twitter page ("Go Army - Beat Navy"..... etc.) and was about ready to apply for a couple of Master Cards & Visas in his name, then max 'em out with cash advances that I'd use for more nefarious reasons. Maybe find where he lives, get a copy of his birth certificate, apply for a driver's license in Nevada or whatnot, get arrested and use his name, destroy his life, etc.

Hayden, dude, mask yourself online. This ain't Mayberry 1962, you know? Cyber world is pretty unforgiving.

Good luck at Auburn all the same, and congrats again on your scholarship. You should be proud. But don't be a schmuck (on the Web).

Yeah can someone help me notify him so that I can edit my username.
