VA Nomination?

It's in the mail. So, he would like to wait (not to jinx his chance).

Congresswoman Comstock (VA-10) said she would be notifying her nominees the first week of January. This winter break is going to be stressful.

Heard from Senator Warner and it wasn't good news. 2 down 1 to go, my chances are not looking good.

Thanks! District 10 Comstock. I feel the interview did not go well so I was hoping for a senator nom. If WP wants me, and that might be a big if, will they find a nomination for me?

I really don't know how that all works. Good luck, hope you get good news soon!

Haven't heard yet... I have a presidential nom, but I would really like to hear good news! Didn't get either senatorial noms- so fingers crossed. I'm assuming since phone calls went out & I didn't get one, it isn't good news- but you never know until you've got the letter!

Hi Padre. My DS received a nom via a letter from our MOC on December 19th; it was dated December 15th. It showed up in his portal a few days later. We are VA-11.

Congrats dtd!
Thanks Padre. Hope you get good news soon as well. We know he still needs the appointment (and the waiting is stressful) but getting the nomination news was nice as we head to Annapolis to attend the Military Bowl on Monday.

Same district as you, I guess we're competing for the same spot. Best of luck, maybe we'll meet in person if we both get it! And if you're a very competitive candidate but you don't get the nomination, there's a chance you'll get an AOG scholarship and go to West Point after a year of prep school. One of my friends got an AOG from our district two years ago and is now at WP. There's always hope if you don't get the nomination.

I received one from my Congressman but didn't get one from either of the Senators. What I learned is If you didn't do an interview with them, your not likely to receive a nomination
