I know this is not the correct place to ask this, but I didn't see another area to do so, or a FAQ for the forum.

I used to have, on the left side of the forums page, "recent posts", but not they have disappeared. Is there a way to pop them back up. Is there a Settings?

I am not sure about a "recent posts" setting, but I know there is a "Community Information and Feedback" forum all the way at the bottom of the main forum list. One of its functions is an FAQ. IMO, that is a better place for your question. :thumb:

Good Evening,

Are you referring to the forum home page? We still have the recent posts listed there, but please let me know if pure referring to another location.

TN - the "recent posts" isn't showing up for me on the forum home page either. I don't actually use that feature, but wanted to confirm what @brovol is seeing.

Previously (before yesterday), when I hit the "forums" link on the bar at the bottom or top of any page I was on it took me to the page with each main forum category (as it still does), but if I was on my laptop or iPad (but not on my phone) that "forum" page also included a list of the ten or so most recent posts to any thread on the entire service Academy forums site. It was on the left side of the page. It was a nice quick reference. Now it's gone. (Well this morning I haven't checked on my iPad or laptop, as I'm typing this on my phone, but as of last night it was still gone).

OK, good. Now I know that I wasn't just placed on serviceacademyforum.com probation for all of my long, borish posts with misspelled words. Either that or you too are being punished. Lol

I have noticed I only see that when using a computer, and not when using a mobile device.

Hmmmm... I still see it. If Tactical didn't just fix it, I wonder if it's only showing up for moderators or something at the present time?

Maybe it was fixed. I am on my phone right now so I don't know. I also thought maybe I had some setting screwed up, but I don't see any settings.

I'll check in a while.

Forgive me if you tried this, but try shifting your view of your ipad from portrait to landscape. On my Kindle, I can only see "recent posts" in landscape mode.

Still not there on my iPad. Not on portrait or landscape. It was there until yesterday. Oh well. I will survive. I liked that though. I could keep a better eye on all you people. Lol

We changed some settings for mobile devices to provide a more streamlined view. However, we can put the recent posts back if the consensus is that would be best.

Note that this change is only for the site on a mobile browser, so this doesn't affect the "Timeline" on the mobile app.

I do really like the recent post part, so that's my two cents. It provided a quick view of anything I may be interested in. I'm kind of surprised more folks weren't commenting on it being gone. I have kind of getting adicted to this forum.

Thanks for adding it again. Appreciate it!
