Forum-mates, I have spent quite a bit of time here the last 3 months. I have been in job search mode after leaving, on good terms (my position was re-located out of state, and I turned down a re-lo), a company I had been with for several years after retiring from the military. We are well-rooted in the Annapolis area and committed to sponsoring mids as our contribution to community service. It has been a welcome respite from my own challenges to read others' questions and concerns, and add my two cents where I felt I could aid the discussion.

Happy New Year to all with best wishes for BFEs raining down, amazing Plan B's, waivers coming through, all questions and doubts resolved, worried parents soothed, dreams coming true and trolls vanquished. Thanks to the Forum Overlords who make this a good place to come.

My resolution is to find another great role serving veterans and military at a non-profit service organization, foundation or university, just as I served in uniform and at the excellent company I just left.

Watch out for the Other People tonight if you are out and about.

Happy New Year! Excited to see what 2016 brings. No matter what, we will find the good in it!

Happy New Year, Captain MJ. Thank you for sharing your great wisdom and experiences here.

I hope you find the job of your dreams in 2016.
(I think you would be a fabulous NROTC PMS if you haven't already done that).

2015 has been a great year, and 2016 is going to be HUGE! Can't wait for all of it. Good luck to all in the same boat.

Hope you find your dream job, Capt.

God bless America.
