Timeframe Question

DS was awarded a 4-year AROTC Scholarship, he finished up all his exams earlier this week (he did not apply for any SA's which is why he just completed his exams), and his DoDMETS/Concorde portal now states that his medical documents were received by DoDMERB (which I was told indicates that Concorde's job is complete in this process and that it now goes to DoDMERB). He logged onto his DoDMERB portal and it reads the same as it did a few weeks back "medical under review"...it does give the dates of when his file was opened back in December, but does not state any other information such as receiving docs from Concorde, etc.

My question is - once it leaves Concorde and goes to DoDMERB, how long does it normally take before he sees a change (good or bad) on his DoDMERB portal? Thank you for any insight.

For my DS, it was 2 weeks from date of exam to rec'd at DoDMERB and entered into their system. It was an additional 1 week until the exam was reviewed and responded to by DoDMERB. Total = 3 weeks from date of exam until reply on portal.

Thank you for the reply. If DS's docs were all sent from Concorde to DodMERB on/or around Jan. 15th, we will start looking for a DoDMERB portal change at the end of the month.
 
Northerner: my DS was recently qualified by DoDMERB.

It took about 1 week for the results to move from DODMETS to DODMERB.

Once at DoDMERB the timeline was as follows:
6 Jan - Date exam received
6 Jan - Medical data entry
At this point, status was listed under DODMERB medical review

11 Jan - Date exam reviewed - status changed to qualified

12 Jan - Date letter sent: DD2368

Of course, the timeline can be impacted by remedials and the general processing queue (number of applicants in the pipeline).
