Hello all. I hope this doesnt come off as rude or pretentious, as it is a genuine request for help.
Two months ago, I had everything for my NROTC app completed aside from the officer interview. On the day of the interview, I showed up to my assigned location 15 minutes early only to get a call 30 minutes after the start time that there was a miscommunication and my interview was actually the following week. Although discouraged, I told myself that it was just a mistake and take too much problem with it. I showed up the next week, completed my interview, and was told I did an excellent job by the officer. I felt great to have it done 3 months before the deadline (it was mid Novemner). However, the weeks have gone by and my application still says that the officer interview has not been uploaded. I have contacted my district coordinator, who replied promptly and said he would get it done within the week. That was last month. I contacted my recruiter, who told me he would get it done "tomorrow". That was last week. I dont have the contact information of the officer. I feel as though I am really getting screwed by these guys. Who can I contact?

Not rude as you state facts with a timeline. What you are going through is understandably frustrating.

Is this for NROTC or NROTC/MO (Marine Option)?

Contact the district coordinator and work with him/her. That individual might be able to push the officer to finish the job. Try to get the name and email address of the officer from the DC and send an acknowledgement email thanking the officer for the interview and offer any additional info that may assist in completing the upload. Always be professional, polite and factual.

Good luck.

This is also happening to me with the naval academy (BGO not uploading interview). Ive asked him many times whether or not he has started putting my interview in and he always replies yeah ill get right on that. Its been about 4 months for me. Who can I contact about this?

I am not sure if you are also part of JROTC but our instructors really help their "kids" out. They are just as eager to know about the status of their students. They have a way of getting things done or finding out what is going on.

I think you can contact your admissions counselor at USNA for help. He/she may contact your BGO on your behalf. Have you happened to ask the BGO if he has any concerns about writing your eval? Maybe that would help the process. Just a thought.

+1. Call daily or at least every other day until it's resolved. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. You've already allowed them more than sufficient time.

If you are in NJROTC your instructor could offer to do the upload for them??
