Hi, a bit of a broad question, but can anyone estimate how many acceptance letters have been sent out already at this time? I am triple Q'ed and waiting.

I don't know if this helps you, but in looking at last years appointment threat for 2019, it seems most of the appointments from this thread went out the second week of March.

Usually those who report on the forum represent about 10% of total appointments. If that holds true this year as in years past, then maybe 340 at this point is a safe guess because there are currently 34 on the 2020 appointment thread.

RELAX... I know, easier said than done. It's not even MID-FEBRUARY yet.

The preppies this year have been told that they should be notified 'early', meaning the end of April instead of May.

As Fencer said, relax. There is still time for the majority of appointments.

USAFA does not notify candidates regarding 3 Q status. DS is class of 2018 and completed app in late summer. He heard nothing from USAFA for 7 months until he received the email to check his portal...March 17 St. Pattys day.

I did not hear the preppies would be notified this early. I thought they waited for their last quarter grades.

They had a briefing and my DD said that they were told that they would try to notify them prior to May 1 so that those who have applied to colleges can reply before the national deadline.

Of course being the military, no guarantees and anyone whose grades are borderline would have to wait until the final grades are in.
