I searched the forums and can't find an answer so I'm posting a new topic. DS was offered four year AROTC scholarship. I understand that once he reports to school in the fall he will sign the official contract. Does that require a parent signature if he is only 17? I'm not sure if there is any parent orientation with the ROTC so worry he may get there and need paperwork signed but we'll be states away. Thanks ;-)

Yes -- if under 17, he will need one of his parents to sign the contract too. His ROTC unit should send instructions for how to make this happen if a parent can't be there.
