What are my chances…

Walked right in last January! I think its one of the best breakfast joints I have ever eaten at! I hear the wait time is long now, but I'm telling you its worth it!!!

Last Friday (02/19), no waiting! Pop Tart selection was Mixed Berry, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Brown Sugar, got one of each... including a few to go for the less fortunate that couldn't make it off the Yard.

The colder it gets, the shorter the line :)

With the exception of the recent Presidents Day weekend....where were you to take my hour wait in line on Sunday morning? Having said that...Monday's snow was a green light for a comfortable seat at the bar...for the comfortable food..Yum.

We Rooster about every other week, go mid-week for dinner. DH loves the chicken pot pie (biscuit crust mmmm) during the cold months. I blissfully return to my Southern roots with Rooster in a Biscuit or Chicken and Waffles. We do Sat AM breakfast when the weather is bad, as soon as they open. You can do Open Table reservations too.

Back-up locations for breakfast: The Main Ingredient, Grump's, Miss Shirley's, Pa Dutch Market. We still go to Chick 'N' Ruth's every few months, but I always feel cramped in there.

Edit: If SAF ever decides to do a meet-up there with screen name name tags, I'm in.

I'm so upset I left Annapolis before this place opened.

I am so upset that I didn't know about it even after leaving Annapolis 9 hours ago.

Chxxk & Rxxh's is just getting down right horrible. We were there for a quick bite at 3:30 PM on Thursday w/ only 4 tables occupied. This is second time in 4 months going at same time like this. Not to mention prices are way too expensive now, for nothing special. I've been eating there since 1974 (as a kid with my Dad, he ate there long before me) I lloved eating there, but its changed :zip:

C'n'Rs - I admit that's where we go when we want to split a Breyer's ice cream chocolate shake and an order of onion rings.

That was the problem! Wife got the Greek Salad, me - Matza Ball Soup & order of Fries, Daughter $5 Cookies and Cream Milk shake to eat my fries with. $5 Shake didn't come until I after fries were about gone, soup was slurped, etc. Frustrated, I had to get up and walk down stairs and say "where's the $5 shake?"

A few more breakfast spots to add to my list. Last December we discovered Eggcellence. My favorite here is the Trio of Blintzes.

The big find this visit was the Amish Market. We are going to make this a regular stop for fresh baked pretzels and stuffed pretzel logs.

As recommended by NavyHoops, we also tried Cantler's. Very nice place on the water and away from DTA. Had an early dinner in order to get back to the Yard for wrestling vs AWP. Matt Miller's performance rocked Alumni Hall. I'd like to know where I can find video of it.

Please keep the suggestions coming as we eat our way through Annapolis.

Went to Iron Rooster this WE while DS was at CVW. Awesome. Best part was the coffee to go at the end of breakfast (I'm a coffee nut). That's genius.

Tried to reserve a table at the Iron Rooster May 21 -23, but it's booked for breakfast and lunch - hoping to experience what everyone has been raving about.
