2nd board winner letter

Nothin here either. It just doesn't feel official until theres a paper to sign.

Do you think it would be fine to just print out the email letter and sign it to send back?

That's what you do. Print, scan, upload. Portal changed to reflect acceptance within a few hours.

The only thing you're going to get in the mail is the Dodmerb package and you should have already received it.

I think the email confused many since it says we will receive the official package in the mail shortly after receiving the email notification. But the attached memo signed by Cadet Command does not reference such a package. Bottomline, 18 Mar is the acceptance deadline.

Question: Still waiting on the NROTC decision, but now have a 3 yr AROTC scholarship with an 18 Mar deadline. Is the acceptance binding if a 4yr NROTC scholarship follows in the future?

No...Once you decline the offer it's gone, but you can always let Cadet Command know you changed your mind and won't be coming in the fall. No one is going to come to your house in the fall and make you go to school and enroll in Army ROTC if you change your mind or have other plans.

Son received a letter a couple days after the email it was his doctors to contact for the DOD Medical exams. He completed his Optometry today and has the Physical tomorrow. We did mess up and he mailed it first but must be emailed. Also CCed the school so they are able to start his folder.
