I am a recruited athlete who will most likely be attending the USMMA next year. Is it possible/feasible to participate in other activities such as waterfront sports or EMT in addition to a varsity sport? I do a winter sport if that makes any difference. I would really appreciate any insight.

More than likely yes...But it also depends on the coach/sport...some coaches will not let you do any other sport and in some cases activities except your sport and training for your sport. DS is a member of a sport team and is also an EMT. I know of a person who was a 2 sport and after their plebe year was told to either focus on this sport only or give it up...also spoke with a Mom and their DS wanted to do something else and coach said no...I also know of a 1/C who did not care this year and said they said that they were going to do what they wanted and if the coach didn't like it too bad

You can do as much or as little as you like. Remember though that choices have consequences.

Which is, in and of itself, another lesson to be learned. Of all the things I learned at KP, probably the most important was categorizing priorities and learning time management. . . .
