I recorded myself doing some push-ups and sit-ups to check my form and I'm trying to find a video of someone doing sit-ups and push-ups at West Point and them actually counting so that I can compare my push-ups and sit-ups to theirs. I saw this video of people taking the physical fitness test at West Point and to me it didn't look like some of them were going low enough on the push-ups or coming up high enough on the sit-ups. I'm curious if they actually were going low enough on the push ups and high enough on the sit ups and I'm just being too picky or if they actually needed to go lower on the push ups and higher on the sit ups. I'm also wondering what West Point does when people show up and they can't do proper push-ups and sit-ups. Do they just send them home?
Here's a link to the video:
The parts I am referring to are the girl in front at 0:38, the guy in front as well as the girl next to him at 0:58, and the guy at 1:47.
